Information we collect
In providing the Service, we handle the following information: account information (email address and authentication credentials), billing information (subscription status; we do not retain card information), astro diary entries (body text, mood, tags, and metadata about the transits of the day), and birth data that you optionally provide (date, time, and place of birth).
Astro diary entries are stored encrypted on our servers (AWS) (D116). Birth data is stored on your device and is not sent to our servers (except where you yourself choose to sync it).
How we use it
We use the information obtained to provide the Service, verify identity, process billing, store astro diary entries and restore them on other devices, perform AI-based trend analysis (where you have consented), and improve quality and prevent fraud.
Sharing with third parties
Except as required by law, we do not provide your personal information to third parties. To the extent necessary to provide the Service, we entrust the handling of information to, or transmit it based on your operations to, cloud providers (Amazon Web Services), a payment processor (Stripe), and authentication providers (such as Google). External transmission (cookies & analytics)
The Service transmits information about users externally as set out below. Access analytics for service improvement and revenue optimization (Google Analytics (GA4)) operate only when you select "Allow all" in the cookie consent (no measurement takes place while consent has not been given). We do not conduct tracking for advertising purposes. The fonts used for display are delivered from Google Fonts (an external CDN), and in doing so your IP address and similar information are transmitted. The terms you enter in place-name search are transmitted to our servers (AWS, Tokyo) for matching against a place-name dictionary (not provided to third parties, and not used for analytics or advertising).
Cookies and similar technologies are used only as necessary to provide the Service, such as maintaining login status and language settings.

Retention & deletion
We retain information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of use or as required by law, and delete it upon withdrawal. Astro diary entries are deleted upon withdrawal. Data stored on your device can be erased from the device upon withdrawal or by operations within the app.
On-device birth data & encrypted server-side diary
Birth data (date, time, and place of birth) is, in principle, stored on your device and is not sent to our servers (only the minimum necessary for chart calculation is handled on the device).
Astro diary entries are stored encrypted on our servers so that they are not lost when you change devices or delete data. The body text, mood, and tags are encrypted before leaving the device, and neither we nor our servers retain the plaintext (we cannot read the contents of your diary).
Your rights (access, correction, deletion)
You may request the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your own personal information that we hold. Please direct such requests to the "Contact Point." If we expand the covered regions in the future, we will also respond to rights under the laws of those regions (such as the GDPR).
