Terms of Service

Scope

These Terms set out the conditions for using the Western astrology app "Coelo" (the "Service") provided by us. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

The Service is intended for entertainment and as a reference for self-understanding. It does not guarantee the accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any information, including divination results and AI-generated content.

Accounts

Basic features are available without registering an account (as a guest). Registration is required to save and sync data and to use certain features.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. Minors who use paid features must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before doing so.

You shall keep your registration information accurate and manage your authentication credentials at your own responsibility.

Prohibited conduct

The following are prohibited: acts that violate laws or public order and morals, acts that infringe the rights of others, acts that interfere with the operation of the Service, unauthorized access or reverse engineering, and registration of false information.

Intellectual property

Intellectual property rights in the Service and its content (the calculation engine, chart rendering, text, design, logos, etc.) belong to us or to the rightful owners. Rights in data that you input or create belong to you.

Fees & subscriptions

The fees, billing cycle, and free-trial conditions for paid plans are shown on the plans (pricing) page, and the fees for one-time purchases are shown within the page of the product concerned. Payments are processed through Stripe, and we do not retain card information.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the prescribed interval. The conditions for cancellation and refunds follow the Notation Based on the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute regarding the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office shall be the court of exclusive agreed jurisdiction for the first instance.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms as necessary. Material changes will be announced by posting on the Service or by similar means. If you use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
